Your Troubled City is on Kickstarter!

Hey Everyone!

I guess an update on here is overdue, so here we FINALLY go!

First of all, I really want to express my sincere gratitude to all of you! I was moved when I checked the analytics for Your Troubled City. 111 people downloaded the game, and it is featured in 23 collections by now. When I uploaded the game, I never would've thought so many people could be interested in it. This is ridiculous, especially since it is an unfinished product... You people are amazing!

While I hope you enjoyed reading through it so far, the uploaded state of the game is absolutely not what I want people to be holding in their hands! Back in summer 2023, my plan was to upload some bits and bobs to make it somewhat playable at least. Unfortunately, I realized that there is still so much more to do. Back then, I had just graduated from Architecture and Urban Planning. Your Troubled City was my Master's Thesis. The exhaustion of graduating, as well as the ensuing existential panic of figuring out how to survive adult life, didn’t really help either. I’m sure you can imagine. After letting all of this settle for some months, I am finally back at it, though! I want to finish "Your Troubled City" and polish it to the level of professional perfection I had envisioned when starting the project.

A few weeks ago, I figured it's about time to get back to the grind, embracing my good old friends, stress and panic, and created a fundraising campaign on Kickstarter! In the beginning, it didn’t look like the campaign would get anywhere close to being funded, but a few days ago, it suddenly gained a lot of momentum! It might actually reach the funding goal now!

At this point, I feel confident in finally sharing this with you. I would love to see you over on Kickstarter, joining me on this next step in the journey of Your Troubled City! We have got 7 days left until the funding closes, and I’m sure we can get the game to its best possible state together!
